Our Start
Located in the heart of the Middle East, Lebanon has become the largest capital of the “Haute
Couture” fashion design.
By introducing our company’s creative trends into this market, we have succeeded in expanding
and marketing our products to most of the local talented artists who soon gained global exposure
and were celebrated as international designers.

In 1968, Mr. Awedis Arabian, the founder of “Ets. Avo” introduced the sales of embroidery
materials to the Lebanese market.
Since then we were selling to many renowned houses of Couture in Lebanon our embroidery
materials and tailoring products.
In 1973, the company became the first sequins manufacturer in Beirut Lebanon.

Unfortunately, the devastating war was the reason behind ending the industrial endeavor.
In 1998, Mr. Armen Awedis Arabian, took the lead of “Ets. Avo” and continued providing to the
market the needed materials
The year 2003 was a turning point for the company. The old dream has become a reality
relaunching officially the manufacturing of the sequins materials.
Our production line has incredibly improved throughout the years, expanding from Lebanon
towards the Gulf countries.
Global Market
In 2010 as our global reach was flourishing, we started the preparation of introducing our
products to Europe, Turkey and Russia.
Hence a branding strategy took place in late 2014 and Etincelle – Maison de Paillette was born as
an International brand of sequins, produced by “Ets. AVO Pour Le Commerce”.
Proudly, our history of 53 years and long experience, allow us now to design and produce any
type of sequins following customers’ requirements.
Furthermore we are looking forward to satisfy the needs and aspiration of the COMING
GENERATIONS.

Our Start
Since we started our business in Beirut, we have actively contributed to the development and
prosperity of the Haute Couture in Lebanon.
The improvement of the fashion field, in which we played a considerable part, made that many
Lebanese Fashion Designers reached the Red Carpets and world celebrities in New York, London,
Paris, Cannes, Milan and Rome were dressed by our friends.
Present Day
Today and with our support, our clients regularly participate in exhibitions and seasonal fashion
shows around the Globe.
Apparently Embroidery is a folkloric tradition in Armenia. And Art is God given gift flowing in the
blood of each and every family throughout this Land.
Pushing the new Armenian Generation to invest their potentials and artistic capabilities in the
fashion field is a very beneficial and prosperous project.
We would gladly share our knowledge to support Armenian fashion designers to achieve higher
goals and global exposure.
Academic Curriculum
Therefore, our social responsibility makes that as a core part of our Project, we will prepare an
academic curriculum and offer, free of charge, Master Classes to Armenian students.
The classes will teach technical courses in the design and execution of Hand Embroidery, in
addition to the History of the art of embroidery and its impact on Couture from antiquity to
surrealism and modern time.
In parallel we will sponsor the talented and skilled and help them in developing their career in
Objectives & Mission.
Couture.
Being one of the world major creators of embroidery sequins, setting up our business in Armenia
is considered not only as a business goal but also as one the company’s social responsibility
